A day out in Edinburgh Castle

Granny stayed home for a rest so mummy, daddy and I went back to Edinburgh Castle for the day.

Yesterday was primarily to look up grannies daddy and her grand daddy in the Scottish War Memorial in old books that has every soldiers name that died in a war.  They fought in something called the first world war and the second world war.  I dont know if we have had a thrid world war if we haven't I hope we don't because it doesn't sound very nice.  Mummy was trying to find their name in the book and get a certificate commemorating their service so she can give it to granny.  She said she is getting close to finding them.  Their names were

Charles Milne (WW1) and Charles Taylor Milne (WW2).

That was yesterday today we had fun and I found a new friend, an indian boy, who ran around the castle with me all day.

They say in italy, if italians arent talking about calcio (soccer for the non-europeans) then they're praying.  So being Sunday we went to church. This church is a special church because my Nonno (dad's dad) helped build the front part of the church when he lived in Italy.  Then when he moved to Australia in 1952 to build himself a new life and family he would still send money back, back to Italy, from the little he made to help fund the completion of the church. Which is what stands today.

Old Fort Bay Club, Nassau, The Bahamas

Last day today on the sunny shores of Nassau, The Bahamas as we fly to the sunny shores of London,  England (5 degrees celcius apparently). We spent a lovely family day at the exclusive 'Old Fort Bay Club' as guests of Mark and Maxine Hussey. All the photo's are of me of course.  I cut out the ones with mum and dad.
