Finally we get to go

Well here we are the first day of my three and a bit month tour of Europe and the Caribbean, taking in England, Italy then a quick dash down to the Bahamas. And not a moment too soon might I add.  The stress of my first seventeen months on this planet had been unrelenting.  Hugs, Kisses, be here, be there, crawl, stand, walk…. It has been never ending.

This morning was no exception.  Up early with last minute packing.  What have we packed? What haven’t we packed? Plane delayed which meant my pick up was delayed. It goes on and on.  I have to mention though that my entourage and private assistants (mum and dad) made it seamless for me.  I was in fact up at 5.30am showered, fluffed, puffed, pampered dressed in my new dress for the airport and escorted down to the waiting car.

All good until we were hounded by the paparazzi, so I stopped for a few shots then off.  Thank goodness there were no lines.

Then on to the family paparazzi of aunties, uncles, cousins.  Nonna with some last minute food (as if I will never have another decent meal again without her around), hug, kisses, photos, blah, blah blah.  Lady Gagga has no idea how easy she has it.

Then bliss, I found my own seat in business class away from everyone.

That didn’t last too long.  Having the oldies follow me around on my European trip isn’t the most desirable situation so I hooked up with a couple of BFF’s (hip Emirates hosties on a return leg from Perth).  So while mum and dad faffed around, me and my new home girls chilled out with a few tunes and cartoons.

This leg of the trip I have to mention is to Dubai (my first time there) so looking forward to it.  Two nights there then off to Royal Britannia.  Being a night flight I finally managed some sleep, sleep, sleep little Bo Peep.  See you on the other side.

Oh before I do finally sign off ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE WORLD looks like I am having a little baby brother or sister.  That’s right mum is popping another one out, February some time.  So before the little brat turns up I am going to lay back and soak up the attention.
